How do you transform a massive arena into a cozy living room overnight? Together with Radio 2 and Dutch star Guus Meeuwis, we proved it’s possible. On Monday, 22 September 2025, the AFAS Dome’s arena floor became the stage for a mini-concert that only 200 lucky fans could attend.
Exclusive setting
Normally, the AFAS Dome welcomes 20,000 visitors, but for this special occasion, a compact stage was built in the center of the floor. The result was a unique sense of closeness: for one night, a huge arena turned into the most intimate club in the country.
Fast and efficient
The entire production – setup, show, and breakdown – took place within a single day. This proves that even in a large arena, small-scale projects can be executed perfectly, without compromising on quality or experience.
Collaboration with media
A highlight of the project was the partnership with Radio 2, which provided a livestream. This extended the impact far beyond the 200 fans in the venue, allowing thousands more to experience the concert remotely as if they were in the front row.
The perfect teaser
The showcase served as a powerful promotion for Guus Meeuwis’ large-scale concerts in December. The buzz generated by this intimate event helped drive ticket sales even faster.
This project demonstrates the flexibility of the AFAS Dome and shows how working with the right partners creates a powerful mix of exclusivity, efficiency, and reach.
