PXL University College was the first to make use of the brand-new red theater seats at the Trixxo Theater in Hasselt last week.

Traditionally, the PXL opening day takes place in early September at its own congress center, PXL-NeXT, but due to strong growth and the great interest from staff, the venue could no longer accommodate the event. That’s why the opening day moved this year to our nearby theater.

*“The Trixxo Theater not only offers us the necessary space but also the ideal setting for an academic program and for showcasing the musical talents of our colleagues,”* says General Director Ben Lambrechts. *“The hall’s acoustics made the opera singing and the spectacular drum battle of our staff shine like never before. We are honored that our PXL community was the first to take a seat in the brand-new red chairs.”*

Throughout this academic year, the Trixxo Theater will continue to serve as a meeting place for PXL University College. In addition to the opening day, classes will also take place at the Park H site, and later this year the annual job fair is scheduled once again.

In doing so, PXL University College underlines its growth and ambition in a setting that perfectly matches its dynamic character.
