Once a year, the AFAS Dome venue transforms from a bustling concert hall into a rustic horse arena. For the equestrian spectacular Cavalluna, we make way for more than 60 horses, ponies, donkeys, and their impressive entourage. What is normally a space for thousands of music fans becomes a full-fledged arena for a family show that is as magical as it is technically complex.
A production like this requires more than just space. It demands adaptability, infrastructure, experience, and a team that thinks along with you. The AFAS Dome makes this transformation possible, year after year.
A Herculean task by the numbers:
100 crew and cast members
60 animals: horses, ponies, and donkeys
25 trucks for equipment, tents, and sand
4 separate trucks for the animals
150 tons of riding sand, placed on top of 1,200 m² of rubber mats
A 98-meter stable tent with 56 boxes, heated with 2 industrial heaters
1 tractor, 2 forklifts, 2 wheel loaders, and 1 aerial work platform
1 warm-up tent for the horses
180 show lights, an 8 by 20-meter LED wall with 2.5 million LEDs
A 100-meter catwalk around the arena
180 costumes, 30 wigs, and... 90 m³ of horse manure
What might seem like a logistical nightmare to others is perfectly manageable for the be•at team. Thanks to flexible infrastructure, experienced technical teams, and a sharp eye for detail, we give every show the space it needs to shine.
