The memories of Capitole Gent’s rich past as a cinema are reflected in this space, with a historic film projector as the eye-catcher.

Resto Warie is named after Albert Warie (1916–2015), who worked for more than 40 years as a film projectionist in various cinemas in Ghent, including the neighborhood cinema Novy. Warie was also head of the technical department of the Capitole Gent cinema.
